A Wonderful Day of Play

All of these grassy pics were taken beside the town of Mendecino, in northern California. This grassy area was surrounded by water on every side but one and much of it dropped off to the water rather suddenly so we had to find safe trails for the boys to run in and guard their routes! They laughed and ran and ran and laughed some more. It was so fun and so beautiful. Probably one our best days!!

Got to Ride on Real Steam Engine Train!

This is the Skunk Train! Apparently it used to really stink.... Lots of fun now though!

These are some pics of the boys picking wild blackberries we found. They got to pick wild huckleberries today. They have absolutely loved picking fruit from plants and trees at the places we've gone, but I'm going to really have to watch Hudson because he's beginning to think everything is good to eat from plants!!! Been working on that one with him!
